Babette off 'Gilmore Girls' is probably one of the most entertaining people I've managed to come across in the last 6months. That's not entirely true but I love her. So funny and animated! She calls everyone Sugar....cute! x
The dress in these pics is probably the only one I have photos of at the moment...it's a rockabilly-tattoo-print extravaganza! My mum found the fabric on Ebay. I like to make the basic dress from a pattern and then alter it to my taste.
Unfortunately I forgot to wash the red fabric separately before i made the dress, and I was wearing it on a boat in the ocean off Newcastle. I thought it would be poetic and romantic to jump off the boat an go swimming in my dress, except the water wrecked the zipper and made the red dye run. The romanticism of swimming a dress quickly wore off.....
