I currently work in YWAM as a full time volunteer, I work all week in 'Youth Ministries' so planning programs for young people and stuff. I don't get paid for what I do so with limited financial support I have learn't to find creative fun ways to recycle clothing. People come here from all over the
world so my friend Hannah from Indonesia and I went op shopping all the time.
I found this really cute 1950s sunray pleated long black polyester skirt. I only ever wore it once to a formal or something and then it pretty much hibernated in my closet. About 6 months ago I found it again and decided it might have potential and cut it down and hemmed it and now it makes this really cute high waisted skirt! Its really light though so I try not to wear it on windy days.
