So! The 'Vintage Bettie' shoes are up!
These are my newest favourite pair of shoes! They have overtaken every other pair I own. I've always thought there was something romantic and bold about red shoes - and it's no secret that red is my favourite colour!!
People keep asking me if it was hard to walk in my new pumps and honestly no! They don't hurt at all! They have a clever little platform in them that reduces the pressure put on the front of your foot, and they're rolled at the bottom to make it easier to walk. I took them off before I went shopping though, because I just dont trust the weather here. It has been raining on and off lately and I have a hard enough time not slipping in puddles wearing my flats!
Oh - I also got the first part of my half-sleeve tattoo started on the weekend! Huge thanks to Nathan for the sketch and Mike for his beautiful line work (and of course his gorgeous girlfriend Jacquie)! Eventually the roses will have for more vines added and then shading to complete the sleeve.
