Last month on the way to Woodgate we stopped in at a small town to go to the bakery for lunch - I think it was Gin Gin? I have realised while road-tripping that nearly every small town in Queensland has the best pies. Outside almost every pub or bakery there are signs that read 'Home to the best Pies in Queensland!' I don't doubt for a minute that they have great pies - but I am slightly confused as to who judges these? Do we have a pie tester that travels from small town to small town eating pies?? Or is there a website where these shops have their pies rated? ratemypie.com?In this town was one of the cutest houses I have ever seen - it had rose gardens and a hedge fence! We had to stop for pictures of it! My sisters dress complimented it perfectly - its almost like the house called her that morning asking her to co-ordinate her outfit to match. I think they're the most adorable couple! I wonder if houses have names?
