So during my travels on the weekend (home and back) I have been thrown into the path on a oncoming magazine called 'Peppermint' which my Mum found and left on my bed. I've only read one issue and its already in my top 5 magazines to read.
Pushing number 1 at the moment in my magazine world 'Post Modern Ink' is my favourite but 'Peppermint' has already overtaken 'Franie', 'Yen' and 'Vougue'. 'Peppermint' is a magazine about environment and art, this latest issue was the world issue talking about fair trade and buying locally and about environmental buying! They say 'Fresh Green Fashion' which sounds good to me! I like the idea or recycling things to make new things instead of just becoming a standard consumer. (I always freeze my leftovers so this makes me not that bad te-he)
So I got my camera back and have been snapping away and actually have photos that aren't a year old to post.
This little creation is one my mum actually made so I though it deserved special mention. I found all these crazy crochet books from the 60s and 70s in Port Adelaide one time and brought them home and now all my mum crochets is from op-shop magazines which we find for 50c!!!!
I think its totally adorable and fits my 'Lori' really well....
